Summary
The National Training Program in Allergy and Asthma
We have developed a transdisciplinary training program in the causes and management of human allergic diseases and asthma by bringing together scientists and educators with expertise spanning immunology, physiology, clinical research training, health services utilization and population health.
Funded training positions are available for basic science and clinical trainees, ranging from summer studentships through M.Sc and Ph.D. training to postgraduate Ph.D. or M.D. training.
Candidates should initially contact an individual professor or professors with whom you wish to train. Once you have identified a potential advisor interested in supporting your nomination and have discussed a potential research project with him or her, send a completed National Training Program application form directly to the Training Program Office. A formal interview competition will be held every six months. (See application information page.)
